We are a bit late with the picture this week - as the pups now have some new cousins! Kiki's litter (1 dog, 1 bitch) arrived a little earlier than expected, and for the first 18 hours she wasn't very keen on them. But no matter, that's what big sisters are for, and Gloria took them over, feeding and cleaning until Kiki felt up to the task! It's a good job that these three are now nearly independent of mum. They still enjoy a quick feed when she will stand in one place long enough to let them have it, but they are now eating well, have discovered the water bowl, and realised that it is for drinking from, not swimming in (although they do sometimes get that wrong!) and spend time playing with their toys and each other. They have met the adults through the bars of their playpen. Because the weather has been nice they have been able to spend quite a lot of time outside.
