A very successful end to the year

There was no rest for the Ridley Cesky Terriers over the Christmas period. On December 27th we went to Sleaford Canine Society's show which was held at the Lincolnshire Showground. This was a new venue, and we had a very enjoyable day. Warm, good sized rings, excellent parking and a very pleasant atmosphere - just the way to banish the post-Christmas blues! There were no breed classes, but Erik took BAVNSC and Ulrika BP - then Ulrika went on to win the Puppy Group.

The following day we did it all over again, but this time had a much longer journey to the KC building at Stoneleigh in Warwickshire, for the Ashbourne & District CS's show. This building is purpose-built for dog shows, and there was plenty of room to move around - but oh! the Car Park....

By the time we got into the show I was covered in mud. The dogs had stayed in the trolley, so at least they were clean and dry, which is more than could be said for me and for the trolley. Going back to the car at the end of the day was even worse, because by then it was dark, and I didn't see the enormous, rather deep puddle until it was too late!

Never mind, it was another successful day, with Erik taking BOB again and Ulrika repeating her group win of the day before. My clever little girl now has 3 x PG1 placings, 1 x PG2, 1 x PG3 and 1 x PG4 to her name, as well as a BPIS and RBPIS - and she's only just over 7 months old.
